BEP is the largest producer and printer of Federal Reserve Notes for delivery to the Federal Reserve System each year.

These notes are produced at this facility in Washington, D.C. and Ft. Worth, Texas. The BEP produces several other specialty printing products, such as hand engraved invitations on behalf of the White House, and various miscellaneous security documents for other government agencies.

For 111 years, the Bureau produced U.S. postage stamps for the U.S. Postal Service. But in mid- 2005, the Bureau ceased U.S. postage stamp production. All products are designed and manufactured with advanced counterfeit deterrence features to ensure product integrity.

Tickets are required for all tours from the first Monday in March through the last Friday in August, on a first- come, first- served basis and are Free of charge.

The Ticket Booth opens at 8:00 a.m. - Monday through Friday, and closes when all tickets have been distributed. Lines form early and tickets go quickly, most days' tickets are gone by 9:00 a.m.
