Rock Creek Horse Center

The Rock Creek Horse Center specializes in providing instruction and training for horse – riding and for care and looking after horses.

The Rock Creek Park is spread over 12 miles from the border of Maryland to the Potomac river. The Center conducts following programs: Evening Summer Camps for teen and adults, Volunteer Programs, Recreational Therapeutic Riding and Pony and Friend Summer Camp.

The riding lessons are run on a ‘Term' basis. The classes are conducted weekly. The Term may be of 8 to 12 weeks duration. The English balanced seat instruction is provided at every level.

The classes are grouped according to riding ability and age. Instruction for jumping and basic dressage is included in Intermediate level classes. The students ride mainly in the safe ring, but at the discretion of the instructor, some additional practice may be done on trails. Some limited western style classes are also conducted.

Tue - Fr 12p – 6p
Sat – Sun 9a – 5p.
