Fletcher's Boat House

Fletcher's Boat House was built in 1850's. It is the first stop on so many Washington recreational spots. It offers boats and bicycles for rent, fishing supplies and canoes are also available. With boats you can visit Roosevelt Island.

Fletcher's Boat House is situated on the Potomac river and C&O Canal National Historical Park, between Chain and Key Bridges. It's a good starting point for running in Rock Creek Park. Many tourists and locals come to this area for recreational activities along the Potomac river, Ohio Canal and along the Chesapeake.

The Fletcher's Boat House is a very popular recreational area for about 150 years. Fishing, biking along the C&O Canal, picnic or jogging, so many recreational and health enriching activities are done in the surrounding area. There is no problem in finding a parking space, it is available on both sides, east and west of the canal.
