A minimalist, Euro- suave decor dominates the lounge with brown leather sofas, bold red walls and contemporary lighting. Meanwhile, the equally stylish dance floor pulsates from urban and house mixes. Blue Gin maintains a 25- and- up policy, ensuring that the place maintains its more mature vibe long into the night.

The latest edition to Washington DC's growing number of nightlife entertainment venues has finally arrived. The club is a two- story, 4500 square four newly renovated lounge/club space located in the heart of Georgetown. It's unique lounge and bar concept is complemented by an eclectic new American menu.

Thirty- something regulars take seats at silver bar stools or on plush couches and check out who's who on the dance floor while ordering from a drinks menu that features dozens of fresh fruit cocktails and vodka martinis. There are Asian- influenced snacks to order too, but why not head up to the more intimate top- floor lounge.
