Hay Adams Hotel is located across from Lafayette Park. Named after statesman John Hay and historian Henry Adams, the hotel's architecture reflects Italian Renaissance. The hotel was designed In 1920's as a residential complex with 145 rooms and 20 suites.

The Interiors of the hotel are amazing with carved plaster ceilings and marble fireplaces. Rooms are painted with a natural paint with plush blue and burgundy carpets. The rooms are provided with three multiline phones with facilities like voicemail and high speed Internet access. The beautiful marbled bathrooms with brass fixtures make you relax under the shower or remain in the bath tub for a long time. The rooms which are located on the south side of the hotel give the best view of the Executive Mansion in the town.

    Hubby and I decided to spend and splurge on a very posh hotel on our 1st anniversary. We got a very nice rate for Hay Adams hotel and we got more what we ask for. The staffs are super friendly. nofollow
