Washington Jewish Film Festival is one of the world's largest and most comprehensive Jewish film festivals. Held in December, this festival boasts exciting movies from Jewish filmmakers around the world. Presented by the Washington DCJCC's Morris Cafritz Center for the Arts, is committed to reclaiming the distinctive urban voice and social vision that are part of our Jewish cultural legacy, addressing moral questions and concerns of the DC community.
The films bring audiences a potpourri of drama, archival footage, new views, documentaries and student work, depicting the rich and exuberant moments of Jewish life from around the world. The WJFF prides itself on the diversity of its programming, screening films from many countries and exploring numerous themes.
