Endless Activities

It must be said that Washington is a place that never runs out of Community activities. Especially in Port Townsend, the place of excitement. What with events and happenings like Film Premieres, Marine Science Center’s Benefit Auction, the 12th Annual Playwrights’ Festival, Quilcene’s First Saturday Artwalk, the locals and tourists certainly have a lot to watch out for.

Fort Washington Park

Between 155th Street and Fort Tryon Park near the Hudson River, you can see Fort Washington Park. Some of the fun activities you can do at the Fort Washington Park are exploring the fort’s features, learn about Military science or go on a picnic with your family! It is also fast becoming a popular place for group meetings because Fort Washington Park has tables and grills. You must register by calling their local number beforehand because picnic areas come on a first-come, first-served basis.
