Zoo Bar DC

The Zoo bar as it is known popularly due to its proximity to the National Zoo - - is technically and originally known as ‘Oxford Tavern'. It is situated in the northwest Washington DC from the National Zoo. In 2003 it was called as ‘The Zoo Bar Café', but now people simply call it the ‘Zoo Bar'.

This is a professional bar, which takes care of the taste, comfort and liking of its guests. People come here for live music on weekends, for ‘Pitcher Night' on Tuesday – which offers cheap pitchers of beer and for food, drinks and fun everyday!

The menu at the Zoo Bar is diverse, and there is a long list of drinks to choose from. People from every background come here to relax, whether they are young professionals or students or the elders. They forget themselves completely in drinks, dance and fun, for some time when they are here.

You can enjoy live music in the night in the open air while watching the twinkling stars and maybe along with your favorite drink or with your favorite dish, for that matter. You can listen to Blues or rock or any other music form played by one of the best bands. People come here for drinks and live music but they keep on dancing here in the beautiful environment till the wee hours!
