Decatur House was built in the year 1818 and was designed by the architect Benjamin Henry. A number of exciting events took place in this place from 19th to 20h century.

Located one block north of he White House on Lafayette square in Washington DC I is a historic museum and a number of exhibitions take place here from time to time. The museum remains opened the year around, Tuesdays through Sunday.

Admission is by donation only.

Sunday: Noon - 4:00 pm
Museum Shop hours:
Monday - Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday: Noon- 4:00 pm
